L'Engle's books take us on imaginary journeys to strange new places.  Your challenge this time is to journey into the realm of "mitochondria" and "farandolae"  and "prokarycytes" and back.  Don't worry.  You will figure out what all this means before it's over and be able to explain it to all of us.  But first we must explore A Wind in the Door.
