The Task

Your older brother and his friends, having just graduated high school, attended the job fair full of hope.  To their disappointment, not one of them was hired. Now they are trying to figure out why.  

After thinking it over and talking to your friends, you decide not to let this happen to you.

"Let's at least find out why they would not hire them!"  you exclaim.

So you and your friends formulate a plan to find out just what the employers are looking for. Together, your task will be to find out

• Which skills and qualities are required in the 21st Century work force?

• How do you prepare yourselves to meet these requirements?

You will produce a brochure to share your findings with other students who are also preparing to take their place in society.
