Introduction

A big job fair has just taken place in your town. Fifty potential employers from various fields of work set up booths to interview potential employees.  At day's end, the interviewers held a meeting to discuss the results of the job fair. The complaints were all the same. Although hundreds of people presented themselves seeking jobs, few were actually qualified to fill the positions.

They were looking for people with the right skills to do the jobs, technical skills, personal skills, literacy skills, team players, problem solvers.

"If only the schools were turning out this quality of workers," they said, "we would not have to import skilled workers from other countries."

In this WebQuest you will answer the question:

Which skills are required in the 21st Century work force, and how do I prepare myself to function successfully?
