Notes for Teachers

This WebQuest is a study of the dichotomy in human nature as portrayed in Edgar Allan Poe's short story, " William Wilson."  Students are called upon to read, reflect, analyze, annotate and illustrate the story.

Teacher should help students to gain an understanding of the use of  Thinking Maps prior to beginning this project.

Learners

The focus is eleventh grade American Literature using technology as a tool to assist in the learning process. Learners are expected to have basic computer knowledge and word processing skills.  

Students will engage in various types of thinking including inference-making, critical analysis, compare/contrast and organizing to write in order to complete this WebQuest.
