Creating External Hyperlinks:

1. Highlight the word(s) or image that you want to link to a site on the Internet.
2. Click on the "Link" button on the toolbar of the webpage editor. 
3. In the dialog box that appears, type in the URL of the site you want to link. The word(s) will appear in your text as blue, underlined letters. This lets you and the viewer know that more information can be accessed by clicking on the hypertext.

4. Click on the "save" icon to save your work.

5. Click on the "preview" tab below to check your links.
