Speaking

Jonathan Livingston Seagull*

by Richard Bach

.

  1. Have a discussion with your group on conformity vs. cooperation.
  2. Tell your group what you have learned from the story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
  3. Have a talk with the oldest person in your family who is available to you, and ask what life means to him or her. Then think about your own ideas of life. Are they similar to or different from those of your elder? Use a thinking map to compare / contrast your own views on life to that of your elder.

Prepare a three-minute speech to be delivered before the class on "What I Believe about Life"

Give this much thought, then prepare your speech using the Presentation Guidelines to help you prepare your delivery.
