Final Book Project

 

Write a story about "Dad & I" or "Mom & I" that tells about an adventure you experienced with one of your parents. Use the Creative Story Writing guide. (individual) Use PowerPoint or Hyperstudio to publish your story.

Groups select one project below to complete.

1. Create a board game that sequences the entire story. Include the following elements:

  • questions about characters setting and plot of the story
  • vocabulary words
  • nature facts
  • rules of the game

2. Create a comic book that illustrates the story. Show the main events that occur in the story and the things that Danny learned from his dad.

3. Make character puppets and perform a puppet show of the story. You must write the script. Include the facts about nature.

4. Create a diorama depicting four scenes form the story.

5. Use the Puzzle Maker to create a giant crossword puzzle making use of the vocabulary you learned from reading this book.
